    “A Hero” receives four nominations at Asia Pacific Screen Awards 2021

    TEHRAN – Iranian director Asghar Farhadi’s drama “A Hero” received nominations in four categories, including best film and best director, at the 14th Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA) as the organizers announced nominees on Wednesday.

    “Rona, Azim’s Mother” wins UNESCO Cultural Diversity Award at APSA

    TEHRAN – “Rona, Azim’s Mother”, a co-production between Afghanistan and Iran by Tehran-based Afghan brothers Jamshid and Navid Mahmudi, won the Cultural Diversity Award under the Patronage of UNESCO at the 13th Asia Pacific Screen Awards in Brisbane, Australia, the organizers announced on Thursday.

    “Bomb, A Love Story” nominated for APSA Best Original Score Award

    TEHRAN – The music for Iranian actor-director Peyman Maadi’s “Bomb, a Love Story” by the celebrated Greek composer Eléni Karaïndrou was nominated for Best Original Score Award at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards, the organizers announced on Wednesday.

    Iran sends four submissions to Asia Pacific Screen Awards

    TEHRAN – The Iranian House of Cinema announced on Monday that it has submitted two feature films, “Astigmatism” and “Orduckly”, (“Ordakli”) and two documentary films, “Iran’s Lady Qods” and “Finding Farideh”, to the 12th edition of the Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA).
