    Literacy movement: achievements and plans

    TEHRAN – Shapour Mohammadzadeh, head of the Literacy Movement Organization, described the literacy situation in Iran before and after the Islamic Revolution on the occasion of the forty-second year of the establishment of the Organization.

    TEHRAN – The average literacy rate of the youth (15-24-year age group) in Iran is estimated at 97.4 percent, which is almost 6 percent higher than the global average, Shapour Mohammadzadeh, head of the Literacy Movement Organization, has stated.
