The map of damage tells its own story

TEHRAN- In the span of just over a month, from February 28 to April 8, a total of 132 cultural sites, museums, and historical monuments across Iran were damaged or destroyed, largely as a result of the massive shockwaves caused by airstrikes.

National taskforce formed to address subsidence threat to Isfahan monuments

TEHRAN – Iran’s government cabinet has approved the formation of a National Taskforce to Combat Subsidence, which will operate under the supervision of the First Vice President, to safeguard Isfahan’s historical monuments and world heritage sites, Amir Karamzadeh, head of the Isfahan Cultural Heritage Department, said.

Special committee formed to protect historical monuments

TEHRAN—With formation of a special committee in early days of an imposed war following Israeli attacks to Iran, a process of preserving tangible and intangible heritages started across the country, said Deputy Cultural Heritage Minister Ali Darabi on Tuesday.
