    Annual saffron production expected to reach 400 tons

    TEHRAN – Iran’s saffron production is expected to reach about 400 tons in the current Iranian calendar year (ends in late March 2025), Hossein Zeynali, the director of Agriculture Ministry’s medicinal plants national plan, announced.
