TEHRAN – An exhibition of photography dubbed “Northern Iraq in Photos” by IRNA photojournalists is currently underway in Melal Cultural Center.

Concurrent with “Journalist’s Day” (August 8), the two photojournalists Nasser Javaheri and Mohammad Bababei have displayed a series of photos taken during their two months stay in northern Iraq.

The photos depict the worries and fears of Iraqi people and their life in the shadow of war before U.S. invasion. The exhibit continues until August 16 at the center in Qeytarieh, north of Tehran.
