Iran–Russia technical, engineering contracts reach $1b

TEHRAN – Head of the Export Bureau of the Ministry of Industries and Mines, Esfandiari said that the amount of Iran–Russia technical and engineering contracts have reached $1 billion during the past two years.
Speaking in a press briefing in Mashhad, Khorasan Razavi Province, he said that from among the whole $10.6 billion of Iran’s non-oil exports, 73% are related to the Mine and Industry exports including transformational, household, automobile and engineering industries.
He added that during the past years, $200m contracts for medical goods have been concluded with Cuba, which has been about $110m more than Iran’s previous prediction.
He concluded that during the recent years, the project for constructing the Russian power plant, launching the Samand production line, carrying out the project for refining industrial oils and some other projects have been executed in Russia.
