TEHRAN — The World Trade Organization (WTO) is to hold the general session toady in Geneva, probably discussing the issue of assigning the head of Iran’s working group, according to the prediction by the experts.

The Iranian officials have already announced that Mohammad Nur, Malaysian ambassador to Geneva, has been proposed for the post of heading the Iranian working group to start the negotiation process as well as forming the working group, ISNA reported.

Based on the negotiations process for Iran’s joining of the WTO, determination and approving the head of a country’s working group is prior to the formation of the group.

According to ISNA, the Iranian experts have prepared the English text of the report on the country’s trade regime, which is to be presented to the international organization once the negotiation process is started.

Following this, Iran will enter into more specialized and technical discussions in the fields of economy and the trade regime, which requires enhancement of trainings and conducting studies within different economic organs.
