Fourteen countries to respond to Prophet’s message

TEHRAN -- The cultural and artistic works highlighting the titles of Prophet Muhammad (S) from 14 countries are to go on display in the art section of the Festival of the Message of Prophet Muhammad (S) that will be held here from August 22-31 at the National Museum of the Holy Quran.

Indonesia, Italy, Germany, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, China, Brazil, and India are some of the countries which will be participating in the event cosponsored by the museum, the Art and Cultural Organization of Tehran Municipality, and the Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization.

The art section will feature calligraphy, miniature, children’s book illustrations, handicraft, intarsia, etching, and mosaic.

The calligraphy section will include verses of the Holy Quran that mention the names of Prophet Muhammad (S) and describe his character.

The miniature section is to feature artworks depicting Quranic tales and stories about the Prophet (S), and the children’s illustration section will include artworks from storybooks about the Prophet (S).

The museum is located near Marmar Palace at the intersection of Vali-e Asr and Imam Khomeini avenues.
