TEHRAN – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for European and American Affairs Majid Takht-Ravanchi has said that Tehran prioritizes relations with Latin American countries in various areas.

During a meeting with Bolivian Deputy Foreign Minister Juan Carlos Alurralde in Tehran on Sunday, Takht-Ravanchi welcomed expansion of ties between the two countries.

The Bolivian official expressed hope that the nuclear agreement between Iran and the 5+1 group (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany) will be implemented soon.

The two senior diplomats also discussed double standards in countering terrorism and some Western countries’ inefficient policies in fight against terrorism.
