December 6, 2023 - 15:25

People are planting saplings of Avicennia marina, known locally as the "hara" or "harra", in the southwestern province of Bushehr.

The "Hara Protected Area" covering an area of 27,310 hectares, mainly on the island of Qeshm in the Persian Gulf, is a key biodiversity site and is a major habitat for migratory birds in the cold season.
