Iran downs Israeli drone near Tehran

TEHRAN – An Israeli drone has been downed near the city of Varamin, about 35 kilometers in southeast of Tehran, the Varamin governor announced on Wednesday morning.

The highly advanced drone was shot downed by the Army’s air defense system, governor Hossein Abassi said, the official IRNA news agency reported.
