MASHHAD, Khorasan Province Three photographers from this northeastern provincial capital city won the special medal of the Asahi Shimbun International Photo Exhibition held in Japan.

Hamidreza Gilanifar, a provincial official, told IRNA on Sunday that Faramarz Adel Bordbar, Alireza Attariani and Morteza Kashefi with their photos came out winners in the 61st round of the international exhibition.

The three photos were selected from among 6,443 photos received from 45 countries by the exhibition secretariat, he added.
