Former Jordanian MP Calls Islamic Revolution Major Event in 2nd Millennium

TEHRAN A former Jordanian MP, Shabilat, said the Islamic Revolution was one of the most significant events which took place in the second millennium.
He made the remark on the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of the victory of Islamic Revolution, which is presently being celebrated in Iran.
He said that he has knowledge about all the revolutions that took place in the last millennium, adding that, in his view, a revolution under such great leadership was unprecedented in the world.
Meanwhile, a Lebanese MP, Abdullah Qasir, said that despite all plots hatched against the Islamic Republic, today it is stronger than ever.
Qasir added that many factors distinguish the Islamic Revolution from other revolutions that took place during the last millennium.
