TEHRAN Although the Persian Gulf Arab states have closed down Israeli offices, they still maintain secret ties with Tel Aviv, a Kuwaiti university professor told the international Al-Jazira TV network. Dr. Abdullah Nafisi, a professor teaching politics at Kuwait University, warned that if the Persian Gulf Arab states resume their ties with Israel, there would tension and skirmishes will resurface in these countries.

Abdullah Nafisi said that one of the Zionist strategic aims is to find a foothold in the Persian Gulf Arab states.

Now, the Jafi and Moshe Dayan centers at Tel Aviv University have begun studying the details of gardens and territories owned by Bani Khigha and Bani Nazir tribes at the dawn of Islam, Abdullah Nafisi said, adding it is planning to consider the "right to return" to these regions.

The professor said that the current peace process is of no value and the Zionist ambitious policies will not end by signing some agreements with the Palestinian Authority. The Zionists intend to occupy some oil fields from Kuwait to Muscat.
