TEHRAN - Deputy Foreign Minister for Education and Research Affairs Sadeq Kharrazi, in a meeting with Osama Albaz, the Political Advisor to the Egyptian President, said that Iran supports the anti-Israeli position of Egypt.

It seems that the Iranian official is not aware of Iran's stance toward Egypt. The Iranian authorities, including the president, have always opposed Egypt's pro-Israeli policies.

Iran did not send a senior official to Cairo because Tehran is dissatisfied with the Egyptian government's policies.
