TEHRAN (Mehr News Agency) – Foreign investors will take part in Iran’s industrial projects in case Iran takes appropriate diplomacy as well as logical relations, Valiollah Tavakkoli Taba a member of Mines and Industry commission of Majlis said here Saturday.

Undoubtedly, political attitudes influence the trend of foreign investment in a country, he added, saying the issue must be taken more seriously in the fourth economic development plan (2005-10). He also stated that Iran’s industrial section has recently implemented effective policies to improve both the quality and the price of commodities and services. “We have largely invested in the section to accelerate the development process.”

Meanwhile, the government should provide fields for mass production, Tavakkoli Taba said. It will then result in the reduction of prices and good marketing through international markets, he stated.

Pointing to the necessity to conform fourth plan’s strategies to the objectives predicted in the comprehensive 20-year plan, Tavakkoli Taba added that all required principles and strategies must be included in the fourth plan to accomplish industrial development. ER/IS END MNA
