Iran’s Rafiei to officiate at Asian Games

TEHRAN – Iranian referee Mahmud Rafiei will officiate at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, capital of Qatar, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) reported Monday.

Rafiei is the sole Iranian judge the AFC picked for the tournament.

Doha will host the Games from Nov. 28 to Dec. 15.
