DUSHANBE (AFP) -- Germany's Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier will briefly visit Tajikistan on November 1 while on a tour of Central Asian states, the German embassy in Dushanbe said.

Steinmeier is expected to meet with Tajikistan's President Emomali Rakhmonov for talks on mutual ties, the embassy said.
