Iran qualifies for Asian Youth Volleyball Championship final

TEHRAN -- Iran beat India 3-2 on Tuesday in the 7th Asian Youth Boys Volleyball Championship in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Iran defeated the Indian team 3-2 by scores of 20-25, 25-20, 30-32, 25-18 and 15-11.
The defending champion is to play Japan on Wednesday. Japan also won 3-2 over China in the semifinal round.
Iran has also qualified for the World Youth Boys’ Volleyball Championship to be held in 2009.
The team previously defeated Japan, Thailand and Kazakhstan in the group stage. Iran also swept Kuwait, India and Sri Lanka in the next rounds
