TEHRAN -- A senior Pakistani policeman said that the Pishawar police have arrested the ringleader of the group that kidnapped the Iranian diplomat, Heshmatullah Atharzadeh, on his way to the consulate in Pishawar on November 13.

“Pishawar police have arrested the head of hostage-takers in a series of activities after the Iranian diplomat was kidnapped in the city,” Malik Naveed Khan told Fars News Agency reporter in Pishawar, Pakistan.
The police chief said that the Iranian diplomat is imprisoned in an unknown place.
