Islamic culture enhances Iran’s defense might: admiral

TEHRAN - Iranian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari has said that the “Islamic rich culture and faith” is an element that increases the defense might of Iran’s armed forces.
Positions adopted by the Islamic Republic shows Iran as a country that is cultured and noble, Sayyari said on the sidelines of a ceremony to promote Islamic culture for the armed forces in Tehran on Thursday.He added that the Iranian Army will spare no effort to promote the Islamic culture among the armed forces.
Elsewhere, Sayyari said that Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has highlighted the importance of “cultural independence”, because the Islamic culture shows the country’s identity.
