65-year-old woman survives avalanche

TEHRAN — A 65-year-old woman who was trapped by an avalanche in Rudbar-e Qasran district, north of Tehran, escaped certain death.

The woman who was trapped under avalanche on Thursday afternoon was found with the help of mountain rescue services who soon attended the scene.

Soon afterward she was transferred to the hospital and received proper care.
