TEHRAN – Deputy Interior Minister for Security Affairs Hossein Zolfaqari says Iranian security forces have managed to detain members of three terrorist cells affiliated to Daesh (ISIL) in the current Iranian year, which began on March 21.  

In the current year, Zolfaqari said, the three terror groups that intended to commit vicious acts inside the country were traced and arrested by security and intelligence forces, Tasnim reported on Monday.

Following round-the-clock intelligence activities, the three groups were smashed and their members were arrested before they could carry out their terrorist operations, he said.
