Mohajerani to Attend OPEC Culture Ministers' Meet in Caracas

TEHRAN Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ataollah Mohajerani, heading a delegation, will leave for Caracas, Venezuela on Sunday morning to attend a meeting of the culture ministers of members of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC). The three-day meeting will open in the Venezuelan capital on Tuesday.
Simultaneous with the meeting, OPEC member states are to hold a cultural week in Caracas.
Iran's cultural week will have the participation of 35 artists who will stage various theater and puppet shows, traditional music, picture and painting exhibitions, as well as screen film exhibits of historical monuments and tourist attractions.
On the sideline of events, Mohajerani will also discuss expansion of cultural relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Venezuela as well as with other countries, in separate meetings with their delegates.
The OPEC culture ministers' meeting will take place in advance of the forthcoming OPEC summit in Caracas slated for next week.
