Greta Thunberg tells Gaza-bound flotilla leaders: ‘End your complicity in this genocide’

“End your complicity in this genocide. Be human.” With these words, Swedish activist Greta Thunberg addressed world leaders on Monday from on board the Global Sumud Flotilla, which has arrived in Tunis and is due to depart for Gaza after resupplying.
The multinational convoy, carrying hundreds of activists, aims to break Israel’s blockade and deliver humanitarian aid to the besieged enclave.
Thunberg accused governments, corporations, and Western officials of enabling atrocities in Gaza, where more than 200 journalists have been killed since October 2023. “Nobody is free until Palestine is free,” she told cheering supporters gathered at the port.
The flotilla’s voyage comes amid famine warnings and intensified bombardment, with organizers describing it as a lawful humanitarian mission confronting what they call an apartheid regime and collective punishment.
