TEHRAN- The Deputy of Production Operation of the Thermal Power Plant Holding Company stated that despite the current critical conditions resulting from the imposed war, the determined and commendable resolve of the staff and their enthusiastic participation in carrying out their duties have ensured that no disruption or stoppage occurs in the effective execution of readiness enhancement programs and maintenance of power plant units across the country.

According to IRNA, from the Ministry of Energy, Masoud Moradi emphasized on Saturday, in a meeting attended by managing directors and key executives of production complexes and specialized companies involved in the maintenance and preparation of power plant units, the need to strengthen integration and participation in the timely and effective execution of the required power plant maintenance programs.

In this meeting, Moradi referred to the vital role of the thermal power industry in the stability of the national grid and stated: Given that the thermal power industry, with 98 percent production readiness during peak periods, plays an absolute role in grid stability, the quality and timely execution of maintenance programs and the enhancement of unit production capacity are of critical importance for successfully passing the peak consumption period of the year 1405 (March 2026–March 2027).
