DUBAI -- National midfielder of Pirouzi, Hamed Kavianpour, signed a contract with Al Wasl of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

According to informed sources, Kavianpour joined the Emirati team for 500 thousand dollars.

The Iranian footballer's contract with Al Wasl is extendable.

The UAE's club has already sold Nasser Issa to Al Wahda for 410 thousand dollars and was willing to import the playmaker Kavianpour.

Al Wasl is satisfied with the 24-year-old Kavianpour's performance and has called him a star of Asian football.

According to IRNA, former player of Esteqlal, Farhad Majidi, is also playing for Al Wasl.
