TEHRAN— Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has called for deeper regional integration, stronger economic and transport connectivity, and closer cooperation among neighboring countries, proposing a new “CIS+1” framework to expand Iran’s engagement with members of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
