Electricity coverage in Iran’s rural areas reaches 99.8%
TEHRAN – Iran has extended electricity access to 99.8 percent of its rural population, marking one of the highest rural electrification rates in the world, according to the head of the Iran Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution Company (Tavanir).

Implementation of 36 electricity consumption management packages succesful
TEHRAN- Head of Iran's Power Generation, Distribution, and Transmission Company (known as Tavanir) announced the successful implementation of 36 electricity consumption management packages nationwide, saying: "These packages were developed with the aim of reducing electricity consumption, and their implementation has been accompanied by a reduction in electricity consumption."
