TEHRAN -- If international organizations fail to perform their independent role in enforcing the terms of international treaties, Iran will be authorized to review its relations with them, government spokesman Gholamhossein Elham said here on Monday.

Iran has not yet decided to withdraw from the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) since no serious resolution has been issued against it so far, Elham told his weekly press conference. As for the contents of President Mahmud Ahmadinejad’s letter to U.S. President George W. Bush, Elham said that Iran will not reveal the contents of the letter, “however, if the addressee of the letter intends to reveal it, he can do so.”
