Vienna (IRNA) -- Iran's ambassador and envoy to the Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency Ali-Asghar Soltanieh said on Monday that the remarks of the IAEA Director General Mohamed ElBaradei, were unbiased and constructive.

Speaking to IRNA, Soltanieh hoped that the resolve for cooperation will dominate the board of governors' working atmosphere and that diplomatic efforts will not be overshadowed to enable the agency to continue its activities without being impressed by political concerns.

The IAEA Board of Governors may raise the issue of Iran's nuclear activities on Wednesday.

ElBaradei hopeful on Iran deal

On Monday, ElBaradei demanded more cooperation from Iran and welcomed big powers' offer of incentives to Tehran to resolve the crisis.

"It (is) clear that the agency has not made much progress in resolving outstanding verification issues," ElBaradei said in a speech opening the board meeting.

"I remain convinced that the way forward lies through dialogue and mutual accommodation," he said as quoted by Reuters.
