First Iranian private port to go on stream in 2 months

TEHRAN – The managing director of Iran’s Ports and Shipping Organization (PSO) said here on Sunday that the first port run by the private sector will become operational within the next two months.

Talking to MNA, Ali Taheri added that Aftab Port, southern Hormuzgan Province, was totally constructed by the private sector. Receiving loan from the government, the sector installed dock and breakwater, he said.
