TEHRAN – Foreign Minister Manuchehr Mottaki on Wednesday lauded Madrid’s “independent policy” which has provided a good reputation for Spain in the world.

In a meeting with outgoing Spanish ambassador Antonio Pérez-Hernández Torra, Mottaki said grounds are fertile for cooperation between Iranian and Spanish companies in Latin America.
The Spanish ambassador, for his part, expressed hope that the two countries will further improve bilateral relations.
He also called for the joint implementation of oil and gas projects in Latin America
