Buffon not leaving Juventus - agent

Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon will not be leaving Juventus in the summer despite the continued speculation that surrounds his future, according to the player's agent.

Buffon, 33, has reportedly been told he will have to take a pay cut if he is to remain with Juve and Italian newspaper La Repubblica recently claimed he was likely to move to either Roma or Arsenal as a consequence.
However, agent Silvano Martina, who last week acknowledged the possibility that Buffon could leave Juventus but insisted he had not had any contact with Arsenal, now claims his client is going nowhere.
""I really don't understand why there are constant rumours regarding Buffon,"" Martina told tuttomercatoweb.it. ""He has two-and-a-half years left on his contract and he is more than happy at Juventus.''
Injuries have limited Buffon to just 10 league appearances for Juve this season. The Italy captain has missed Juve's last two league games through illness but is expected to start against Fiorentina this weekend.
