Iran plans to invest $1.3b in high-tech industries

TEHRAN -- An official at the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran said that this year 27 advanced industrial projects worth some $1.3 billion will be implemented by IDRO.

IDRO’s plan last year was two broaden ties with universities and commercialize and invest in some $50 million worth of new related technologies.
IDRO's objective is to develop Iran's industry sector and to accelerate the industrialization process of the country and to export Iranian products worldwide
