TEHRAN – Twelve Iranian artists are participating in a land art exhibition, which is currently underway at the Geumgang International Nature Art Center near the South Korean city of Gongju.

Asieh Mohammadian, Atefeh Khaas, Faezeh Qaemimanesh, Farzaneh Najafi, Mahdieh Dehqan, Nushin Nafisi and Sima Yusefnia are among the artists, veteran land artist Ahmad Nadalian told the Persian service of ISNA on Wednesday.

Entitled “Breathing Art”, the exhibit is a pre-biennial to the 7th Geumgang Nature Art Biennale 2015-2016, which is organized by Yatoo, the Korean Nature Art Association.

Nadalian said that all the artists have been selected by a committee of Korean artists.

The organizers aim to breathe new life into nature and create a beautiful harmony between nature and human beings.

Yatoo has close connections with Pardis, Nadalian’s center for land art in Polur in northern Iran.

According to Nadalian, Yatoo organized an exhibition of works by Iranian artists collaborating with Pardis at its art center last year.

The Breathing Art exhibition opened on October 7 and will run until November 30.
