Iran’s Tasisat Daryaei discovers rivals at AFC Futsal Club Championship

Tasisat Daryaei of Iran has been drawn in Group B of the AFC Futsal Club Championship Thailand 2016 along with Al Mayadeen FC from Lebanon and Uzbekistan’s FC Almalyk.

Group A consists of Chonburi Bluewave from Thailand, Japanese Nagoya Oceans and Vic Vipers FC from Australia.

Iraqi Nafit Al-Wasat, Dalian Yuan Dynasty FC from China and Dibba Al Hissin SCC from the UAE are in Group C.

Vietnamese Sanna Khanh HOA FC has been pitted against Qatari Al Sadd SC and Taipower FC from Chinese Taipei in Group D.

Each group will play a one-round league, from which the top two teams in each group (eight teams in total) will qualify for the knockout stage (quarter-final), the-afc wrote.

The four winners of the quarter-final will qualify for the semi-final. The losers of those semi-final will face each other in the 3rd/4th placing, while the winners of the semi-final will advance to the final.

The AFC Futsal Club Championship Thailand 2016 will be held in Thailand from July 15 to 23.
