World Cup Freestyle Wrestling Tournament Schedule Changed

SPOKANE, Washington The Spokane 99 World Cup Freestyle Wrestling Championships' program has changed in Iran's favor on the country's request in view of Russia's absence in the contest. Under the new schedule, Iran would face Canada instead of Cuba on the first day of the competitions on Friday. Based on the schedule Germany would compete with the U.S., Canada with Iran, Germany with Iran, the U.S. with Cuba and Canada with Cuba on the first day of the tournament.
Reports released from this city of the Washington state indicate that everything is ready for the competition on Friday with balancing of all the five participant countries' wrestlers under the International Wrestling Federation's (FILA) supervision on Thursday. Nine international referees, including five from the U.S., two from Iran, one from Canada and one from Germany, are to judge the event. (IRNA)
