TEHRAN – The head of the Iranian Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee said on Saturday the country’s Nojeh Airbase serves only to accommodate Russian bombers for refueling while they pass over heading for Syria.

Therefore, Alaeddin Boroujerdi said, the cooperation with Russia does not violate Article 146 of the Constitution which prohibits giving military bases to foreign countries, ISNA reported.
