Real Madrid win third successive Champions League

TEHRAN – Real Madrid football team defeated Liverpool 3-1 in the 2018 UEFA Champions League final Saturday night.

In the match held in Kiev's Olimpiyskiy Stadium, Egypt talisman Mohamed Salah was forced to exit the game in tears after suffering an apparent shoulder injury in the 31st minute.

Karim Benzema gave Real Madrid the lead six minutes into second half after Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius threw the ball against his outstretched foot.

Mane struck the post in response for Liverpool but the game was up with seven minutes remaining when Bale’s optimistic shot from 30-yard slipped through Karius’ arms and into the net.

Real Madrid claimed their 13th European title, and their third consecutive cup under the tutelage of the brilliant Zinedine Zidane.
