East Azarbaijan exports $4.3m of handicrafts

TEHRAN – Handicrafts exports from East Azarbaijan province reached some $4.3 million during the previous Iranian calendar year 1396 (ended March 2018), CHTN reported. 

The country exported $280 million worth of handicrafts in 1396, according to data compiled by the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization. 

Traditional ceramics, pottery vessels, handwoven cloths as well as personal ornamentations with precious and semi-precious gemstones are among Iranian exports to Germany, Armenia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Russia, the Netherlands, France, Italy, South Africa, the Persian Gulf littoral states, amongst others.
