TEHRAN – Some 65,000 people toured the Sa’dabad Cultural-Historical Complex in northern Tehran during the Ten-Day Dawn, which started on February 1 marking the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
The Green Palace, the museum of royal vehicles, and a museum dedicated to royal textile received topmost visitors during the period, CHTN reported.
Sprawled on about 110 hectares of a mountainside parkland, the Sa’dabad complex was once a royal summer residence during Qajar era (1789–1925) and its subsequent Pahlavi epoch (1925–1979).
This year’s Ten-Day Dawn marked the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, which toppled the Pahlavi monarchy in 1979.
