A special ceremony was held in Tehran on Saturday to honor exemplary nurses who are at the forefront of the fight against coronavirus.

National Nurses Week is being held throughout the country from December 16-22.

Over the last 10 months, about 50,000 nurses have been infected with COVID-19, more than 80 of whom lost their lives.
