Lorry Carrying Illegal Afghans Overturns, 14 Critically Injured

KASHAN, Isfahan Province A lorry carrying 80 Afghan nationals illegally trying to enter Iranian territory overturned at kilometer 11 of Ardestan-Kashan Road at about 07:30 hours local time (0300 GMT) Tuesday.
An informed source told IRNA that all the 80 passengers of the lorry suffered injuries, 14 of them now in critical condition.
The lorry succeeded in illegally crossing the country's eastern border when the accident occurred in Natanz, a city in this central province Tuesday morning, the source said.
The informed source stressed that the accident was caused by drowsiness on the part of the driver.
