Three Afghan Asylum Seekers Found Murdered in Berlin

BERLIN -- Three asylum seekers from Afghanistan were found shot dead in a Berlin apartment on New Year's day, police reported. The victims were a 32-year-old woman and two visitors aged 23 and 41 years old. Four children and a second woman were unharmed after armed intruders burst into the flat in Neukoelln district. The children and woman visitor were treated for shock at a local hospital. The motive for the killings was not clear, said police.
