TEHRAN Deputy Minister of Culture and the Islamic Guidance for the Press and Publicity Affairs Shaban Shahidi said on Monday that the ministry follows the platform of President Khatami.

Speaking to IRNA, he said that with taking the office by a new minister, the ministry will follow the president's program in all fields of culture.

He said that the Press Department of the ministry has implemented the president's program adding that the former minister of culture and the Islamic guidance carried out the president's program in various sectors of the culture including, arts, cinema, tourism, the cultural heritage and specially the press.
