TEHRAN The representatives of the Islamic organizations in the United States on Tuesday, June 5, staged a sit-in in front of the U.S. State Department in protest against the U.S. financial and military support for the Zionist regime.

The participants in the rally described June 5 as the day of disgrace, crime and injustice. Some 34 years ago on June 5, 1967, the Zionist troops occupied the Gaza Strip, the West Bank of Jordan River and East Bait-ul-Moqaddas.

The representatives of the American Islamic organizations also condemned the continuation of the seizure of Palestinian lands by the Zionist entity and its destruction and bombardment of Palestinian homes.

They further termed the U.S. policy toward the Palestinian nation as inhumane and said that the biased and discriminatory policies of the United States have led to its isolation in the Islamic world.
