Perugia Considering to Sign Iranian Volleyball Phenom

TEHRAN -- The first-division volleyball club of Perugia, Italy, is willing to contract with the Iranian talent Behnam Mahmoudi, said the managing director of Tehran Paykan Club Mahdi Dadras on Tuesday.

Dadras added that the officials of the two clubs had negotiated in Italy and Mahmoudi would link to Perugia in case the two reach an agreement, according to IRNA.

He revealed that Saeid Rezaei had extended his contract with the second-division Italian Codyecolupe Santa Crocesull in which the two Iranians, Rezaei and Mahmoudi played last season.

In addition to Italy, Dadras accompanied by the vice-chairman of Paykan Club Hossein Hosseini traveled to Germany and the Netherlands to Negotiate about a Dutch player.

The official continued that they also met the authorities of Ajax and Bayern Munich clubs and talked about the training courses and football schools and the top-class football experts of these two clubs would share their experiences and skills with the Iranian Club.

No doubt, the soccer team of Paykan will face basic changes in the near future, concluded Dadras.
