Iran Plays Main Role in Reconstruction of Afghanistan
He expressed hope that with Karzai's visit to Iran, all problems will be solved.
According to another report, Leader of Hezbullah of Afghanistan, Ahmad Ali Ghordarvazi, said on Monday that Karzai's Iran visit is an effective step towards expansion of relations between Iran and Afghanistan.
He said that Iran and Afghanistan have a common border, so peace and stability in Afghanistan is also important for Iran.
Meanwhile, Minister of Information and Culture of Afghanistan, Makhdoom Rahim, said here on Monday that Iran has a main role in the revival of Afghanistan's cultural heritage.
He added that Kabul government welcomes Iran's cooperation in reconstruction of Afghanistan. "Considering the common religion, culture and language, Iran can be the main player in the reconstruction of Afghan cultural centers," he further said.
Also, Afghan Foreign Minister Abdullah Abdullah said that Afghanistan would welcome Tehran's support and favors broadening its ties with Iran in all fields.
Abdullah told IRNA that Kabul does not consider Tehran's presence in Afghanistan as harmful. Rather, it strongly appreciates Iran's participation in its reconstruction projects.
He said the principled policies of the Afghan interim government is to secure lasting peace and stability, adding that Tehran-Kabul cooperation pursues economic and trade goals.
Abdullah is accompanying the Prime Minister of the interim Afghan government Hamid Karzai, who arrived in Tehran Sunday on a three-day official visit.
