Europe's national airlines have been using the airspace over Iran's western province of Kurdestan and surrounding provinces in international flights to the littoral states of the Persian Gulf from the second half of May, 2002, said Saeid Chalandari, managing director of Sanandaj Airport, provincial capital of Kurdestan Province.

* KISH -- The first ever Iranian made passenger plane `Iran-140' is to land at Kish Island International Airport on Tuesday as part of its test flights, Managing Director of the Kish Airport Mahdi Hamidanpour said on Monday.

A group of Iranian technicians and experts involved in the production of the plane will arrive at the Island aboard the plane.

Speaking to IRNA, he said Iran-140 has already flown to various parts of the country but its forthcoming flight to Kish will be its longest trip which takes about one hour and fifteen minutes.
